I was more nervous than i'd ever been before my test! :saywhat: (because i'd had my minipimpin sittin in my garage for 2 years!)
As has been said many times the biggest thing you can do to help yourself is to do as frankie says! Relax!
Some other tips though, act confident but not cocky, they don't want to be putting nervous drivers or boy racers on the road.
Are you doing the test in your mini or an instructors car with dual controls etc?
My instructor told me that if you take the test in your own car (or one without dual controls) the examiner will make the test route easier. :erm:
I took my test in my mini and passed with no minors!
(i love telling people that! )

My test is at 8.40am and we start facing downwards on a nice busy hill into town I'm taking it in a new mini *sorry guys* lol because I dont even have mine to pratice in(driven it once so far and its been in the garage having work done since i bought it!).. only had it a couple of days!
I wish i could take it in her though, I can see out of her so much easier lol I'm small myself 5"1 and most of the time I have to work hard to see lol
Thanks for all the tips!

well im convinced my mates tactics were a very short skirt and a very low cut top (of which she denies, but wen i have to tell her how to do double roudabouts without even started lessons she surley did something to pass)
basically stay cool, and aslong as your confident (but not overly) in your driving then you should be fine... i was 'lucky' and was stuck in traffic most of the time so managed to stay calm in the long periods between manouvers.
good luck tho xxx

oooooooooooooo saucy ladies! :cheese:
thats a great time to start, you will hit all the early morning traffic, people will be rushing to work and you will get stuck in traffic!!!! you will pass...EASY!!!!!!!!!!
Good Luck!!
(if i was an examiner, a low cut top and short skirt would do the trick for me... )
:fear:

I failed thrice ( three times).
1. Mirrors, 2. doing a seven point turn but in a mini (he put me on a real tight road tho), and 3. fifty in a fourty, to the examiners reply 'maybe you should try next time in a car where you can actually see the speedo'
If this puts you off, it shouldn't. Dito to what evry1 else said, relax!

Good advice from everyone. I can only speak from my own experience: don't try to run over a policeman directing traffic. :gasp:
I sort of knew I'd failed when the examiner lunged for the handbrake.
But I passed on the next try.

Congrats dude!
Did you do it your mini?
I did my test in mine (with bucket seats!) and chatted to the examiner about what i'd done to it!
