Rear fog lamp doesn't work. - Didn't know that! The switch doesn't light up either, fuses are fine... I'll check the wiring on the switch.
Offside headlamp aim too low. - Haven't adjusted them at all since fitting, but he'll do them for me on the re-test.
Nearside front wheelbearing has excessive play. Will try to tighten that up, if not just replace it.
Nearside steering rack gaiter split. - Will replace that, only about £2?
Failed on the emissions too, I was in a rush before I left and completely forgot to fit/take the cat' with me!

So it's not too bad really, he's given me 10 working days/2 weeks to get it sorted, and bring it back.

Welldone - the important part (the flip front) passed just fine then.

Thank you. He didn't even look at the flipfront really, just asked me why the front end was white, so I flipped it down for him, and he was impressed. Then just carried on checking it all over.Welldone - the important part (the flip front) passed just fine then.

Steering rack gaiter: £3.50. posted.
Rocker cover gasket: £2.50 posted.
Car didn't fail on the rocker gasket, just thought I'd get a new one seeing as the one on there is knackered and leaks oil everywhere!
Fixed the foglight too, had a fuse missing!? So yeah, going to bolt the cat' on the exhaust tomorrow, and fit the steering rack gaiter when it gets here, then book the re-test!

Upper ball joint had gone too, but luckily my mate's dad had one spare, so he gave it to me! Had fun fitting that...
Cat' back on the exhaust, so hopefully it'll pass the emissions now!
Also adjusted the headlights, as one was aiming too low. They're both even now I think, but we're going to adjust them properly at the re-test.
Fitted my new rocker cover gasket too, so it shouldn't leave a nice black puddle on his floor now...
