These hinges are really annoying me now! Thought I had the first one spot on, then put the other on, and it was sat too high.
So I pussed off the fibreglass, lowered it down, and did it again. That set solid, fitted it, and it's still not right!
What's the best way to make sure the hinges are lined up perfectly straight away? I can't afford to keep changing the fibreglass, I'm running out!

Plus I wanted to hear it with the K&N filter!

Got me all excited now! Can't wait until it's back on the road!
Had to take the Mini out the garage today to get a big board of wood out...

Pictures:

Only got one hinge bolted on at the moment, incase you're wondering what it is at the bottom!

Had to take off the bootlid to make easier access to the battery, seeing as it only just fits in the space in the garage!

Messy interior. 10" Mountney steering wheel, very fun when driving along, not so fun on manouvers! Custom suede dash, Alpine speakers, CB radio, Sony headunit. The dash does need re-fitting and tightening up!

Interior from the other side.

My seats. Recaro GTE, with Securon harnesses. Comfiest seats I've ever sat in! Will get them re-trimmed one day. Thinking black leather, maybe just some black material...

Dan have you got some detailed pictures about how you've done your wiring for the front flip?

I haven't done anything fancy with the wiring yet, the headlights and indicators are just connected the usual way, luckily they all stay on when the front flips, I might just figure out how to keep them tidily tucked away to stop them rattling around the engine bay.
Today I'll hopefully finish trimming down the drivers side, and attatch the other rubber hook, then do the locking bonnet pins on top, and the fron't pretty much done!
I'll take pictures as I go, and get some of my wiring for you.

Mm suppose you're alright with your wiring, I've got more distance to cover when my front lifts up.. need to sort out earth points for the lights, but yeah I wouldn't mind seeing some photos of your wiring

Only got one of my arches on, so I'll finish the others tomorrow. Spent a lot of time faffing about with a bike brake cable trying to work out how to let it hold the front up, as it's being held by the headlight wiring, and I don't trust that!
Pictures tomorrow, I promise.

The gradient from white to black looks awesome.
Good to see it's coming along chap, I can't wait until I'm at the point where I can get my front fitted up nice and get all the bits and bobs attached to it

Fitted the arches, which I'm loving the look of! Also fitted the side repeaters to the A panels, and found out why my front passenger indicator wasn't working, connecting came loose!
I spent some time going over some scratches with T-Cut, as I did scrap it a couple of times whilst working on it, i'm cack handed...haha!
I still need to get some rubber trim for the front, to stop it vibrating about! Also need to sort out the bonnet lining, as one side has a small gap, the other side is huge!
Going to go over the whole car with t-cut tomorrow to get the paint looking it's best, and generally give it a good clean.
Pictures tomorrow after it's shiney!

Still needs a few little bits doing, and a good clean!
But yeah, I'm stoked.
