Had fun cleaning, sanding and painting the underside of the car a couple of weeks ago which was a nightmare job, but now its all
done Im happy in the knowledge that there is now no rust left on my car (For now)...

The past couple of nights have been spent in the kitchen, laying up some more carbon, a pair of passenger seat
brackets a bracket for my master cylinder reservoirs and a couple of bulkhead blanking plates. Its Not adviseable to do this in your
kitchen due to the styrene fumes but I had no option at the time. Flowcoated them aswell so they almost look finished.

Also took a couple of pics the other day when the sun was out, finally feels like Im getting somewhere at last!

Glad you like it...
Heres a couple of pictures of the pieces ive been making this week, finished and fitted to the car...
Ive really enjoyed making the carbon from start to finish, makes it really satisfying to see it finally
bolted on to the car...Just got to try and finish all the other carbon for the car now...

As said before, the attention to details is something else.
Looking forward to seing it on the track/road.
your progress seems slow compaired to mine sorry
I'm not knocking your project, but you can't really compare the two, surely?

A quick update of what ive been working on these past few weeks...
Decided to have a go at making some carbon straps for my fuel tank...Turned out looking quite neat, dont think my tank will go
walkabout when im driving now. Wanted something simple as I like the contrast of carbon and aluminium.

Also after more hours of sanding Ive also finished off my passenger seat mounts to match the drivers side ones we made last year.

I wouldnt say my progress is slow Saxo-Fiesta-Mini, One man can only do so much. Admittedly I am trying to focus on quality not quantity.
Would kick myself later if I rushed the little details...

Fantastic work, as always!
But your rear lights, where did you find the red tops?
