This is the internet, sarcasm isnt well conveyed unfortunately, and as such its a shame that your post was read as being arrogant / cocky etc, i wouldn't worry too much about it, but maybe add a /sarcasm tag on the end hah.

Back on topic....This car, love it.

Can i get a drive in it when its finished?

your progress seems slow compaired to mine sorry

Yes, because his mini is five million times better than yours. As is the workmanship. If you don't have anything nice to say about his work, dont say it.

azzgranty, when i saw the title i thought it was yet another chav painting there mini pearl green or whatever and fitting 13x7's (Sorry if you are), but seeing the work its just fantastic. its lovely and shiney and the carbon looks great :P.

Look forward to the future updates :P

i normally dont say much on projects but wow this is great!

i wonder how much weight your saving, as they say with every fast car build 'every little counts' and this truly is the little details made better

hope to see this in the flesh some time soon ;)

This car makes me watn to pull mine apart and start again!

I'm not sure whether to love, or hate it for making me feel that way!

Hey all...Thanks again for all your feedback.
Been a rather unproductive few months on the mini-build i'm afraid.
Had allot of things go t**s up in my job and a few other set backs, so have had to put the project on hold for a while.
Really wanted it finished for the summer this year but things just havn't gone to plan.

Although on the bright side I have still managed to keep making more carbon bits.
Luke G there's always something else you can make out of Carbon...Just let your imagination run free haha.
Anyways, here's what Ive been up to, hope you like them.

Unfortunately for me, there actually not for my car as there for a friends mini, but I am definitely considering making myself one.
My stainless steel grill and moustache weighs a hefty 2100g and this carbon grill and moustache weighs only 483grams.
75% lighter, which is pretty light every kg makes a difference in a mini!

I'll post a picture of the grill on my mates car when I go round there to fit it for him...
Looking forward to more feedback so please let me know what you guys think.
