rFactor is great!
Yeah ok the handling isn't brilliant on a Mini, but atleast you can make your car and race it!

wow!, want to try that, how do I download it on the site? no idea how to get it

"downloads", then in the list of links, click "gamershell", then the UK server, or europe. Thats the best one, i get 400kb from them on good days.

Wow, if only I'd known about this thread when I was writing an article for my site - 50 Years of the Austin Mini: The Top Ten Classic Mini Games. Looks like you guys picked up on pretty much the same selection I did, although there are a lot here that I haven't even heard of!

I think one of the mini mags should run a feature like this as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations - it would be "down" with the kids too. :D

I'm such a trend setter :D

Have to add Resistance: Fall of Man now as well, you don't get to drive a mini but there is one in the first 2 minutes of the first mission - spot on it is as well, but they've added an extra headlight, presumably to avoid BMW going GIVE US MONEY!
Also the game is set in 1951 and the mini came out in 1959 :D

I thought the cars in Half-Life 2 looked very Mini-like too. Let's see if I can find one...

...5 mins later, I've found one but now I'm not so sure. Maybe more like a Trabant actually! :D

couldn't find any screenshots, but does anyone remember Big Red Racing? Came out on PC in '96! You could race minis and beetles in that (as well as moon buggies, hovercrafts, monster-trucks etc!)
