couldn't find any screenshots, but does anyone remember Big Red Racing? Came out on PC in '96! You could race minis and beetles in that (as well as moon buggies, hovercrafts, monster-trucks etc!)

I certainly do! I mentioned it in the blog post I said about above. I couldn't find any good screenshots of the Minis though... Perhaps I'll fire up the old 486!

Edit: OK, here's the link (I'm desperate for attention, what can I say?)

GT Legends on the PC is still the best racing game I've ever played, not just because of the awesome Minis available in it either. :D

Don't think it's been mentioned, PGR4 on Xbox 360. You can drive a Austin Cooper S. Great fun around the nuburgring (sp?).

GTA: London has been mentioned as only having standard minis. It didn't, it had coopers too. Standard minis were the same colour all over, coopers had white rooves.

They were fantastic in multiplayer because they were so damn maneuvrable you could outturn anything and coax other players in the water like a bull fighter.

I've got that still in the wrapper just for display

For the Xbox 360 guys. Race PRO has been out a while now... If you don't have it and enjoy a good racing game its definitely worth the buy considering its about £5 on ebay nowadays. If you've played any Simbin games on pc (GTR, GTR2, GTLegends, GTR evolution) then you'l have basic idea of how the game work's, just a lot more arcadey on console as you'd expect. Still a brilliant transition from Pc to console, though. The guys online are cool and unlike Forza you don't get annoying wreckers online. For example if you crash or run off in the first few lap's a lot of the online people will wait up under a false "safety car" until the pack has caugh up with eachother. They must be sim racers from the Pc because i've never seen that from even the 'Veterans' on Forza multiplayer...

I knew there was a reason i bumped this thread... There's a DLC out now with a Mini in (A proper Mini) at about a tenner for the MS points its defintely worth it. I've bought all 3 now, £45 for the game altogether but i still play it and i've had it a year. Good game!!

Here.

Nah. Its just a case of working through the career to unlock the different classes until you reach the final tier which is Formula 3 and WTCC extreme.

Caterham 200, 270, and 350's and Radical SR3's and SR4's on it though. Brilliant game :D Im just about to play it
