nice build mate, im at leeds university too, second year just about to go into third. and also have a mini up here.
at the moment it's a stage 3 998 but if my current build goes well im dorpping a 1410 twin cam 8v beast into her.

you have to put your arm through the speaker holes in the parcelshelf, the handel is mounted on the inside

sorry for no response been on fiesta sites for a bit still got all the mini gear for fixing them just no mini

He's only done what you were going to do. But not actually painted the front end.

I can't remember what it was like when you had it, but it looks like he got rid of the rusty front end.

And put in a new dash, or painted it a lot more subtly.
