Hi there,
My name is Ryan, I am 15 and I have been saving for years for a Classic Mini 'because I've really got no time for Saxos, Corsas etc like most of my mates at school are into.
On Christmas day, my dad was browsing the net (how sad is that!) and spotted a 1982 Mini City 1000 for sale with 18,000 miles and history, having been stored for the last 7 years. We went to have a look at it and bought it. The bad points are that it is beige and the paint is apparently 'micro-blistered', but as I will change the colour anyway, that is not a real problem.
I have already blown the last of my savings on a set of Supalite 12x5 with Yokohamas, but I will keep it on standard steels until I put it on the road when I'm 17 in 2010. I am saving for a leather or half-leather interior next and after that it will be the paint job, but hopefully I can get a part time job after I am 16 and start to earn a bit more money...
The Forum is great and I really enjoy looking around. I will join as a TMF+ member soon. Ryan__s_mini_2.jpg 134.21K 49 downloads

Welcome to the bubble!
Just curious, why have you bought tyres now? Surely it's better to buy the fresh rubber when you need it?
