You're right about the saxo, corsa thing, the mini may not keep up on the straights, but in the corners it'll eat those lumps of scrap, beieve me .....not that we encourage any sort of racing on this site

well young people,we have only two cars in my family,the mini and a people carrier,it has to be said that when i am away from my wife and children then shifty and myself to have to take up the slack for some of you young ones at the ace cafe,not that we see many,probably due to the wash teeth,put pjs on and keep the noise from your tv down routine that you lot are put through,on school nights only though!!!
yes while im sipping my pint of beer at the ace cafe you will be busy sat in your living room with your parents wishing you were old enough to drive a car without attracting the attention of local plod,only to retire to your bedroom with a can of strongbow which you stole from your father.!!!
when you grow up,get a job and have your own mini cooper, a real cooper like mine,all 1275cc of it,not some city which has been made to look like a cooper, sat in its garage,have a decent career which pays loads,have travelled the world,relax in your leather sofa watching sky plus,sipping a nice cool beer, like me,only then call me grandad,for then i will call you grandad,what goes around comes around

( myself and shifty will now sit back and watch how long it takes for the fishing rod to start twitching ) lol young ones!!!!

stroker al have you know i have travelled thw world!! I was even born in australia!!! Fav place has to be norway or iceland me thinks, that was a cold cruise on the QE2 but god damn was nice to have a final cruise on it before she retired

anyway back on topic,i think its really good to see you young lads doing something worthwhile with your time,when i was your age i would have loved to own a mini,keep up the good work and keep the updates coming

Wish I owned a mini when I was 15, all I had to my name was a little Hillman Imp, anyway us grandads now make sunday afternoons into fixit sessions (dont we dan?) ie: trying to get a fuel sender to work even though it dont want to play ball and installing air horns on the stroker beast.





Oh and cheers dan for that lovely mug of ovaltine and use of comfy slippers, think im gonna sit in my armchair now with a blanket over my lap and watch a bit of songs of praise on telly.
