No Jammy,

My friend learnt from this and now drives very sensibly all the time! Even when he gets hire cars in Germany he doesn't take them on the autobahn to find out their top speed :withstupid:

However, what is most important is that you need to show the examiner that you can drive like any other motorist, as if you've been doing this for years, rather than driving like a learner driver

Although most motorists couldn't pass a driving test now, despite driving for years. Most of us get into bad habbits over the years, I know I have.

As said before, just keep calm and take your time.

For the record I passed on my fourth attempt. First three were in my instructors Corsa and the fourth was in my mums Ka with my dad sitting in the back.

Good luck.

Take your time and relax :)

I was told by my instructor that during a maneuver, you can get out and check how your doing  So thats proof you can take your time :)

Good luck :D

and as u say the minute u herd test u got nervous it was the same with me man.
my lesson before was fine any everything and then as soon as the test person got in i was shaking and everything
but just push through it..concentrate on the road and things around you, remember to look (lots)

you'll do fine and think positive..good luck mate

i passed third time. the first two i did in 2 different models of corsa. i hated them. id done all my lessons in one, and practiced alot with my parent in the mini. i couldnt adjust to the corsas quick enough and hated driving them. failed my first two becuase of nerves.

also, my first two tests were in guildford, and my third i did in farnham, in my mini, and passed! all i needed was an extra mirror (halfords - fiver tops) and that was it.

i felt so much more confindent, and as i was so used to the mini, i didnt have to concentrate on how to drive the car, just on how to drive.

and as for your test being at 8.40, its one of the best times for some people. loads of traffic. stop start. as long as you have your clutch control sorted it'll be easy. mate of mine had his at half 8, got out the test centre, 15 mins to get down the road, did a turn in the road, 15 mins back, and then a bay park back at the test station. hardly went anywhere due to traffic.

keep it calm. think if you pass, you can take the mini out for a drive!!! take your time and good luck!

guess what im doing

My instructor told me I was driving too close to the edge of the road, he used to say "Dave if we go over that white line we`re in that field, get over!!".

Good luck for your test, try not to worry about it :w00t:

Yeah good luck fella!

I passed first time with 3 minors. Unlike my mum who took SEVEN attempts. :w00t:
I HAD to pass because I couldn't get home for six hours otherwise. Nothing like pressure....
