Last year i had just a cb radio, this year i will be taking both.

Sounds like a plan to be honest Ben. If the 2 way things are under £20, I don't see why not.

I'll never forget going into Argos in Bristol with Nick, Dave and Ryan and placing an order for about 20 pairs of them.

Guessing a CB wouldn't work with them? Or would it?

You can buy handheld CB radios with a shorter range.

Also, a lot more people have 2ways because their cheaper and work just as well.

Work just as well over a short distance maybe, but the CB is far better at longer range.

I've got a couple of really good 2 way radio's so will dig them out too

i have both..... can i be called the "road warrior"
i remember on the 07 run nick i had both cb and 2 way,
pie had only 2 way and we were trying to get hold of dave (who had a cb) through us, that was a right game.....

if you can set your cb up properly you can get a range of about 8-10 miles 2 way only has about 1-2 miles

i think our cb is a radioshack one and i remember dad getting it form tandy (amazing shop)

If you have a proper CB radio you can also use a "Burner"...but they're illegal.

If I end up getting an in-car CB instead of a handheld one, someone please tell me which model they used in Mad Max 1 so I can get the big bopper comm sounds
