As has been said CB radios have a bigger range and you can set them louder then the 2ways. But saying that more people may have the 2ways. I prefer both!

Just to add though, you need a licence to use a CB radio in the UK and I’m not sure about the laws for using them in Germany. Up to you though if only a tiny part of the trip is in the UK.

There's a few people in my local club that have them and we go on club runs with them. Probably the most fun you can have! Other than driving the mini!

Yeh, you will be able to talk to anyone with a CB. If it works that is :withstupid:
Don't think it makes any difference if its a UK one or not.

Hi All enquired at an online shop and got this response

Thank you for your enquiry.
Best bet is to have a good look around our online shop and then email or phone us if you have any questions.
Radios start at about £50 upwards, and expect to pay about £20-£25 for a reasonable antenna system.
The tti TCB-550 is a good basic radio and is legal in all EU countries, some other radios are only technically legal to use in the UK.
It then depends how & where you plan to mount the antenna, and what size you want to put on the vehicle.
If a few of you wish to order together then we would be able to work out some discount, although at present all the manufacturers are putting their prices up so prices can change at any time.
Any other questions, please ask.

So question is. Is anyone interested in a new CB legal in the whole of the EU and an ariel package??

Where was that from, i have a contact at a cb specialist.

I sold the TTi TCB-550 to Harber. I personally find Midland CB's a lot better, and easier to use.
