The fastest production 2.0 car?! Off the top of my head I would have said either the Evo or the Scooby (probably the Evo), with the mahoosive turbos they have.

probably something like the ariel atom, u can get that with a s/charged 2.0l from a type R,
or i believe the caterham r500 has a 2.0l. (if i remember top gear correctly).

deffo an evo but if ur talkin just under would the the maza wankle turbo 23b i think the 3 rotar turbo lemans engine thats not very big and had 700bhp plus wankle POWER i want

It depends on what year as well and what drive? because the Maesto and Montego turbo's used to be the fastest FWD cars about..
