The guy that did the quote had never heard of TMF so it was without a discount, should have said "the mini forum" really instead of TMF but oh well I won't be insuring it for a while so I'll have to get another quote once I've saved up enough money.

Hic's number is 08451 290 290
Mini Worlds number is 08451 258 258

That's pretty expensive in my opinion Bek. I saved £100 being part of a Mini Club. Are you?

I went with HIC for my 88' Jet Black. A few hundred cheaper than anything else I could find.

I realise that now.... but at the time it seemed like the best option.
I didn't realise that there were all these 'specialist' insurance deals and stuff... but never mind... this thread will help me during my research for renewal in October!!

Not long.... but was just wondering...

I am 24 at the moment therefore still pay young persons excess, I am 25 in November, but will be renewing my insurance in October... on the internet quotes I've done they are still including the young persons excess even though I'll only be 24 for 12 days of the policy.

Do you think if I hassle them about it I could convince them not to put that on the policy??
