We went all three days, got my tickets from fleabay, ÂŁ40 for two with VIP parking. I only live 4 miles away so I didn't really have to factor in fuel costs so quite a good value for money weekend for me.
We were impressed with the whole thing, we have a small family and the play areas were no extra charge which always makes a mummy happy! I had to spend a lot of my time educating my 2 year old that you can't cuddle and kiss other peoples cars, she thinks of Gary like a family member/pet and found it hard to not touch!
It is a pity there were not more classic mini club stands but from what I understand BMW didn't offer any free tickets to clubs and the guy at the BMOC told me they had asked him to find exapmles of classic minis from every year of production but had only given him two weeks notice!
The tents with displays were good. Comfy, clean and factual. There was plenty to do for the three days and we were really blessed with the weather.
Photos to follow..............

I was never really in the running for furthest distace traveled then, just 4 miles!
My OH took the pics, he had a great time doing it too. I took the one of the upside down girl though and I'm very proud of it!

Had a really good time at the show yesterday, we won a competition which allowed us to park the car behind the pits in the show parking area which was nice. In addition to the old mini we also took a BMW MINI John Cooper Works. Took both cars on track and had a really great day!
Heres some pics:

Did anybody stay on Saturday to see Paul Weller - I heard it was a really good night
I wanted to but Garys rear lights don't work so I needed to get home before it got dark and I had promised my daughter she wouldn't have to babysit again, a promise I now regret making because she came home with a dirty great lovebite on her neck

Is Russ Swift driving the Mini in RsSpyder's photo of the Mini on 2 wheels or was he sticking to new MINIs?
