Blow Through Supercharging A Mini

As above really, particularly interested in pictures of blow through carb setups in round nose (unmodified) minis. All advice greatfully received.

Is it hard to do the conversion? As I have the supercharger.

Also which set up would produce more power on average, the suck or blow through?

thats a very dependable question, with blow through you could also work a intercooler in there

no not mine but doing a similar build at the minute but injected


Injected instead of carb or water injected?

Yes so you could run higher boost, but would all the pipes and where it is mounted have to be custom made?

I'd certainly be putting some neater, better flowing bends in that though ! Lol.

Some of the £1000+ suck through kits on the market look worse than that >_<

just spotted 1 prob with it tho :thumbsup:

makes it harder to change the plugs. But easer no messing with the top mount be the rad. I cant see very well but.. Is the alternator still there??

Alternator looks to be underneath the S/C, agreed about changing the plugs, but it seems like a small sacrifice in the quest for speed :thumbsup:
