mmm if i remember rightly, jammys got a vtec subframe for a mini...teehee

doesnt your 1425 give the scoobies a nibble, 130bhp either at flywheel or wheels isnt going to be slow... then again 300bhp in something only just twice the weight is going to be just as fast/much faster

hmm pondering *remembers the time he raced a STI prodrive impreza and felt so small and weedy *

Haven't had any run ins with any Scoobies or Evos yet, especially round country lanes where I could make it a real fight!

Am getting ideas for my vtec....

The Z-cars monte carlo does 0-60 in 2.83 seconds and has a top speed of 143.. I heard they were putting it into production.

well the only one they have built was for a customer so it's already in production.

Maybe, Just maybe...

The Pug 205 1.9 GTi is a seriously fast car. Jeremy clarkson reckons it will take a ferari around a track.

Would it be possible, To Take the chassis from a 205 and put a mini shell onto it? :erm:

Similar sort of thing to the Suzuki Jeep monstor truck conversions. But with a 205?

I used to own a 205 1.9 and I now own a scooby, the scooby is much faster and doesn't rattle as much. Off the line the acceleration is amazing, IIRC 0-30 is 2.8 sec, not alot can keep up with that.

Minis were quick round coners in the 60s and 70s

today ALOT has changed an a road going mini will not keep up with a hot hatch let alone a scooby/evo round the lanes LOL.

but why do you want to beat an evo in a mini?

for the money your lookin at to build a mini that can beat one you could buy an evo in the first place!!

It is the giant killing factor, as well as insurance premiums of a Scooby or and Evo and the fact that Evos and Scoobies are two of the quickest cars out there at mo (besides supercars) so its a challenge to beat them!!
