If anyone wants one of those bulkheads, I can do them for a very good price. Still in the development stage but very good value for money and supremely light! lol

I will put pics up later if there is any interest..

It's a quality item you know, only fit for a showcar, so I wouldn't be dissing it..

Trust me, it will be worth every penny as the workmanship is 2nd to none. The final version will not use quite the same materials as mine, as obviously, i went for the best, but at £7.50 a pop you can't go wrong. This is a special introductory offer, not to be repeated, once word gets out how good these are I will be putting my prices up, so be quick.

Time for some progress, Been in the garage for the first time today in nearley 2 weeks.

Decided to make my own adjustable bottom arms as Dale had offered me his but i had rose joints and std arms lying around.
Made a template for each arm to check against one i lopped the end off.

Got some ferrules drilled and tapped in a lathe

Posted Image

Welded them up in the correct posistion

Posted Image
Painted and look as good as a bought one!!

Posted Image

Now fitted
Posted Image

Also had to make a bracket for the Stack dash Speedo sensor to pick up on the fron hub

Posted Image

Now fitted the hubs for the last time i hope, just need to torque the wheel bearings up now when its on the floor.

Posted Image

I dont think they will need tightening to the 140lb they recommend as they are not transmitting drive now ??
Any ideas

Cheers

You want the bolt heads pointing down on the tie bar to bottom arm, they are known to work loose

Oh, i didnt think it would be an issue as i had used Aircraft locking nuts and bolts but i will swop them round tomorrow and trim those excess threads off aswell to save the weight :w00t:

Not a critisism in anyway Mark, just have heard of a few accidents and seen the remains of one mini with this exact failure, if they are the other way they cannot normally fall out

You'd better get those bolts cut down quick before Dale spots them
