Cheers dudey :cheese:

It's just some cheap etch primer brushed on the bare metal to try and keep the rust off while I carry on with other things!

Long enough!

But I've had exams and other stuff between. So its been on and off... but constant. Like I did 4 saturdays in a row... but then didnt see it for another 4...

But slowly and surely its getting there!

Now I've learnt to well half decent, it'll be alot quicker as I can get on with the de-seaming without waiting for my dad to lend me 10 minutes here and there to seam weld.

Cheers!

Yup.

I guess your dad is the older Paul?

The younger Paul needs to get on with his Mustang, get onto him about it!!

If you come up the yard, the Mini is under the open garage bit, go have a neb!

Thats re-assuring!

Wasnt sure how the Mk1 style with no seams and bumpers would look... But I thought long and hard and did a few mocks in photoshop!

Cheers dude, Ill go look at yours now!

P.S Like my seamless and lumpless sills?

Didnt see the point in deseaming without doing it proper!

looking good. The only thing with the floors like that is there going to make a lot of noise and a legal requirement for the mot is that if you welding where there wasnt already a seam/joint it has to be a continuous weld

Yep.

Continuous joint on the outside. Doesnt matter on the inside. The new floor goes back about another 3" further underneath than it does inside becase it goes all the way to the next rib!

And I'll put some kind of sound deadening back down, just not sure what yet.
