Sorry to hear that Jamie. I heard the crunch and slammed on the brakes and got out, hence it was abandoned in the middle of the road for 5 hours but no damage. Definately sounds like I got lucky so to speak.
Retro10s - my saviour!
Thanks guys.

Still undecided where to take it as im supposed to have AA parts & labour cover for a garage to do a repair, but apparently they are not honouring many peoples claims at the moment.
Thats not good, I've just took that out!!! Hope you get it fixed, let us know if they wont cover it, so I can cancel my aggreement.

In fairness to the AA they have been out to see my Mary more times than I have taken her for a drive!!
I would definately keep the parts and labour cover, im just going to save mine for something I cant do/afford to do.

I didnt risk it in the end, and after knowing that it would cost less than the excess to replace, I just got them to patch her up and very slowly push her down the drive.

Fair point, it would be silly to waste the cover. Is she gonna be back on the road for L2B? the timing couldnt have been worse!!

The devil works in mysterious ways...
I think if this was any other car, after the problems in the last few weeks I would be screaming for my money back. However in this situation, I really couldnt bare to return her. Just going to have to keep throwing money at her until she works I think

You'll get Mary up and running soon enough! She's just having a 'Mini Moment'. These little Quant cars have a suitably artistic temperament.
