Perol stations especially Shell are the worst for card cloning. It happened in High Wycombe a few years back when they first introduced Chip and pin. It was that very reason why they removed all the chip and pin devices out of the majority of shell garages for a while after only having them in for a few months.

THey were swiping the card before entering the card into the chip and pin device... and behind you they directed a camera down at the key pad to watch you enter your pin... Once you had gone thay had all the card details to create the card and your pin number to use it!

Luckily enough Banks are now picking up on it very quickly... Why do you think people have so many problems using their cards abroad? Its where the most fraud/withdrawls on cloned cards takes place.

PS - I stopped at a Service Station on the M1 the other day and the guy on the till could not speak English, not wanting to sound racist but how the hell can they employ someone who deals with customers all the time and who can't communicate???

Probably because they're cheaper than English staff that's why.

It isn't racist either to say that the staff in these service stations responsible for this fraud aren't white british people... it's a fact

Which shell station was it in Leicester? I use 2 shell stations, have to in the mini for the v power, but always pay cash because I wouldn't trust the sri lancans who run the place as far as i could throw them. (not racist, fact)

Its the one on the way into leicester from stamford, its just past the speed camera coming down the hill on a junction and has a park near it.

Wouldnt happen at my petrol station
