Im sure there was a link a while back on a switch that was on when reverse was selected, so you could only start the car in reverse. Sorry im not any good with wiring I cant explain any better than that!


Would be using the reverse light electrics to relay the current from the ignition key to the starter solenoid.
Quite a good idea actually.

my mates dad said he used to take the rotory arm out and nice and small to carry around i couldnt do with the hastle of that tho

can i just say that i asked this in a way that would not disclose ways of stealing minis. i also removed the text minutes after posting it.

i asked for a PM rather than a reply as i would NEVER EVER want any one to have their mini stolen. my mini means everything to me as it does 99.9% of people on this forum. i know that.

anyway i went out and picked up my keys. lol


i did say that in the PM to jammy that you had asked members to PM you!
