Whats the extra small radiator on the front corner on jap imported minis? Is that an oil cooler?

Are you talking about the silver box that hangs just above the grille on the left when you open the bonnet? that would be the ecu.

There are HEAPS of these Japanese minis over here on Vancouver Island, BC.. I guess we're the closest land mass heading east, so that makes sense! So many odd combos as well, a lot of them really sport the retro look.. and yeah.. they all seem to have those wing mount mirrors!

The other thing I noticed though, is that SO many of them are Automatics - w t f ? Who wants to drive a mini automatic? (Granny maybe?) =)

Easy tiger, I know someone that drives an auto mini and someone else that is looking at getting an auto mini for personal reasons, so type carefully..... >_<

Not the ecu no, this is on a carb?

Whats this on bottom left corner of pic, oil cooler?

It's not an oil cooler. It's the air con condenser. Some Japanese specification had them in the front, other - later type - had them in the driver's side inner wing.

this is mine, a 95 (actually Jan 96) spi automatic , if thats okay with everyone ,

Its near nuneaton, from a dealers so will have a good look over, dont worry even the OP agrees if there is something we are not sure about we'll post it up here just to make sure

Travelling aint an issue but finding a good one for him is?
