Everything said above is pretty much correct. All of them come over pretty much rot free and are generally really well looked after.
Out of the two he has at the minute there is a mint one, which is a red cooper spi. Which is very nice. The second he has is a brg era which needs a bit of work to it as for some reason this came over with some of the usual rust patches.

Just out of interest, since the cars were built in the UK, does that mean thay have already been undersealed?
mine is exactly the same as any mini built over ie it has been sealed etc, not like some evo's and scoobys built over in japan which need to be sealed when they come here.

Why can't people be honest especially when they know your travelling from a distance.

Please elaborate? I'm intrigued to know what they lied about.
He didn't lie he just failed to mention on the phone before i made the trip up there a few bits like small damage to front and rear, rust bubble's on both door's, section of clear coat missing on paint finish on roof, cracked passenger floor pan where underside had been jacked up and has pushed the floor through.................. >

Disappointed.....................

Shame, sorry to hear about it mate. Where was the place?
They are obvious faults not hidden ones so no-one will get stung, they might just get there time wasted?
Not gonna name and shame, I'll put this one down to a harsh lesson learnt
