....it looks like C3P0....

It does look a bit like c3po but silver, i dont know if it was drivable, couldnt see through the windows and didnt check for an engine.

You can get chrome mirror tinting film, but it’s illegal to tint the front screen and only a certain amount on the front side windows.

I know it is illegal to tint the front screens, also illegal to drive it with no tax. It would be legal to drive it on private land though.

saw a bugatti veyron with dubai plates on in mayfair area of london. dad's mate has a 1960's lotus formula 1 car which he still races, along with a 1960 maserati, a ferrari dino and a few others. one of my customers at work has an original ford GT40 (not a new one, the proper one) which i have driven a couple of laps at goodwood as he invited me along when he was testing it after a rebuild, another customer builds porsche engine vw campervans for a living, and usually has some nice things there. Also seen the toyota hilux's that top gear took to the north pole, a hybrid supra race car, the toyota aygo crazy (a celica turbo engine, mid mounted in a car weighing the same as a mini) and several other tasty toyotas like the F1 cars, rally cars, and the 24hr racers.

i work at a go kart track, the number of high end cars we get there is unreal, in the last few months we had:

noble m12
bentley continental GT
rolls royce phantom
porsche carrera GT
a rover v8 powered shelby cobra replica kit car
lambourghini murcielago
ferrari enzo
and many many more,

funny thing is, they turn up with their own sparco suits and expensive helmets in their porsche's etc. then get on the track and cand drive :P :)

heres eleanor with the roller:

Lol, as the pic was loading saw the roller and yeah, it has to be black, and still, as it loads here's me thinking "what? The gone in 60 seconds mustang?! and then to see a little mini there! looks so dinky compared to the roller!

I've seen the usual Lambos, ferraris (know someone with an F355 that made his own front splitter for it because said the front end got a bit light over 100, Ferrari just don't know what they're doing!!) astons, the odd noble but the best are the Atoms I see quite often as their Hq is not far and I gave chase to a supercharged one but didn't last long!! Twas 470M, the one they use for pretty much all their PR, must've done thousands of miles being ragged!!!

And a bit more unusual is the Brooke RR which I've seen driving down Chard highstreet as they're also pretty close. Looked gorgeous!! Chard really isn't the place for it!

Hate to bump, but i saw a Cream/Gold Veyron in St.john's Wood in London today  was a brilliant moment when i actually realised what it was. The guy subsequently scraped the underside of it at he was leaving some luxury apartments. Better still, turns out the guy was looking to rent a place my dad was renovating on the site, so hopefully i'll see it again to get pics :shifty:

Also, does anyone find that seeing a car on the road (like the Veyron) is more exciting than seeing it in a show? I expect good cars to be there, so when i see them in show im not as bothered. But i havent seen a Veyron even in a show! :)

Seen most things but I've never seen a Gullwing.

Not in all the years I lived (born and bred) in London, not in the years I lived in Paris,
not in Milan or Miami where I've worked a thousand times - not anywhere not ever.

Never once seen a real Gullwing just driving by.

i seen a yellow lamburghini gallardo today...looked totally different than on tv! so much lower than i thought, and the mrrors were so much thinner and longer than i thought too!

normally if i see supercar driving abput helensburgh, i either think 'daddys money' because slot of posh people here, or 'drug money' because theres alot of dealing goes on here too! but with the lambourghini...altho i thought 'drug money' i couldnt help but freeze n the spot and stare! WOW!

bump. this is a good thread and it shouldnt die. Minimonty, it may not be a gullwing, but i happen to know a guy in St.Albans who has a 1955 300SL convertible. Closest i'll get to seeing a gullwing i guess. Also, Check oot what i saw today: which one would you pick?

http://i161.photobuc...va/Photo476.jpg

Also saw a Red Enzo roaring down the road but it was going too fast to catch a pic :)

to be honest, i think in my 18 years of life ive seen pretty much every supercar in the metal, except my favourite- the Pagani Zonda F...

seen several nice cars, my dads a tvr man, we went to the last back home meet in '06 i see the tvr speed 12 there, that is the best sounding car i have ever heard ever ever
my last boss, his mate has a murcielago in green, that looks gorgeous, he also has the (supposedly) fastest convertible e46 M3 in europe, last time he got it rr it was around 550wp, i was a passenger in that and that made me say words to the effect of, cor blimey that was rather fast, but that was about 15mph in second and booted to the top of it thats about 80-85, the owner said he ha 196mph on the A1M between yaxley and peterborough exits dont know how long the run up was. that was before it got the stage 5 supercharger, dont know what he had before but it was 501 est fwp

i love classic car show at NEC been for last 4 or 5 years seen enzos, carrera gts, f40s, f50, veyron, mc12, the noble m15 thing rear lights look brilliant on them slr merc, maclaren f1, f430 scuderia racing a gallardo and a nissan gtr at donnington in feb, for the price those gtr's are amazing fastest car of the day (might have been the driver he just didnt care) f430 was around 1m22s gtr quickest 1m18s (there was a gumpert there thinking about it didnt see it lap tho)

love cars dont even need to drive them the sound and the curves do it for me, really dont like slr merc bonnets way too long and they sounds rather poo
