A Diablo passed me on the A38 yesterday and have seen a countash parked in plymouth city center a few years back. Although Plymouth doesnt have a reputation for supercars, i do see quite a lot of ferraris and porsches. a lad im my school used to get dropped off in a brant new 911 gt3. that sounded nice.

Also, a lad i wen school with has two, yes two Lambo gulardo converables and an aston martin (hes 23!!!) and want to by another supercar. Lucky b@st@rd. He doesnt have anything as nice as a mini tho

I see quite a few when I'm going to and from work, lambo's, ferrari's, etc. I think there is a place in Louhborough that deals/rents them out, been past it a few times in town, and always nice cars in there, so the are obviousl taking them out or bringing them back when I see them. Saw 3 lambo's in a row once :) .

On the last bank holiday there was a maclaren SLR 722 parked outside the De Vere Grand in Brighton

I used to do the IT support for De Vere across the nation.. The amount of supercars they'd have pull up to there sites was unreal.. And i'd roll up in my White van and park next to the nicest one I could find..

Ooo, I can add a Ford GT to this now. Saw it on the M20 coastbound the other day. First time I've ever seen one just driving about. Strange really because I've seen a GT40 once or twice!

When he was 10 he started selling cars then started his own car dealership. then he bought a strip club (and thinking of buying another nightclub). He also owns 25% of a taxi company and other bits and pieces. Not bad for a lad who left school with nothing after being diagnosed with leukimia at 14.

This is his website saying where he got all his money from, and some of the cars he deals with. He sold an AMG to the BBC to be used on Dr Who.

My dad saw a Bugatti Veyron near St. Albans recently, for some reason he couldn't keep up with it on his push bike.

Seen most things but I've never seen a Gullwing.

Not in all the years I lived (born and bred) in London, not in the years I lived in Paris,
not in Milan or Miami where I've worked a thousand times - not anywhere not ever.

Never once seen a real Gullwing just driving by.

bump. this is a good thread and it shouldnt die. Minimonty, it may not be a gullwing, but i happen to know a guy in St.Albans who has a 1955 300SL convertible. Closest i'll get to seeing a gullwing i guess. Also, Check oot what i saw today: which one would you pick?

http://i161.photobuc...va/Photo476.jpg

Also saw a Red Enzo roaring down the road but it was going too fast to catch a pic :)

to be honest, i think in my 18 years of life ive seen pretty much every supercar in the metal, except my favourite- the Pagani Zonda F...

Which one would I choose... It's a choice I'd like to have. :) (Currently choosing between Mini and walking - and not always choosing).

I'd go for the Ferrari in a second. Curvy cars with "hips" do it for me. Had a MKII Spitfire (shed) as my first car and got hooked on
curvy lines. Recently had a '97 XK8 which was gorgeous until things started to go wrong which were about to cause a re-mortgage.
Given a lottery win the Gullwing would be top of the list followed by a Ferrari 250 Californian, a replacement MKII Spitfire, a Renault Alpine,
a TR5 (and 6 for umph value), a 1974 Dino (red of course although could live with yellow or black), a rag top E-Type... I could go on and on (and on...)

In the meantime, I'll fix the weird steering problem on the Mini and dream on :)

Best wishes
Monty
