so you still werent able to blag a lift then aha
you can still do some of the stuff indoors if it does rain
just strip and crimp some of the wire that can be done

yh, thats what i was planning on doing. just getting it all prepared for when it is nice. then it would hopefully take me less time to do it as i would have planned it. but nothing ever goes to plan really lol.

it doesnt take long to do tbf
im just lazy so takes longer than usual
plus wen i was crimping and heat shrinking either the crimp didnt hold well or the heat shrink bubbled so i had to strt over again
i also managed to cut the wire for the fuse to short so i had to do something with that to be able to make it useful again lol

lol. im expecting mine to take longer than expected too lol.
how does your in line fuse holder keep the wires in place? like the connection? is it a spade terminal or is it held by a screw or something? and how far did you put the inline fuse in after you connected it to the solenoid? did you connect ot really close to the solenoid or in the middle?

i knew i should of taken a picture of where i put the fuse aha
the fuse i had was an inline one with wires coming of it with spade terminals attached to each end it is pretty rubbish tbf but ill see how long it holds up
i did mine by guess work and it was just luck tbf but id say have it half way in or something, mine is basically right next to the windscreen fluid bottle and ive used small cable ties to keep the wire running along the headlight loom
