Christmas.jpg

We have extended our Christmas order deadline until today.

The count down to Christmas is now well under way, the big day is rapidly approaching and we don’t want to see any of you disappointed if that special prezzie doesn’t turn up in time. As a result, we have extended our Christmas order deadline until today.

Please start thinking about your Christmas presents today, before it’s too late!

Important Christmas Dispatch Dates:

  • Place your order before: Wednesday 4th December 2019.
  • For your order to be dispatched on or before: Wednesday 18th December 2019.

Important Christmas Closure Dates:

  • We close for Christmas on: Friday 20th December 2019 @ 13:00.
  • We open after our break on: Monday 6th January 2020 @ 08:30.

A look ahead, into 2020.

As 2019 draws to an end, we thought we would give you a sneak peak into our plans for 2020 and let you know how they will benefit you.

First of all, we are well aware that we need to to share more of our projects with you on a more consistent basis. In 2020 we plan to use our Instagram account more, introduce a monthly video blog and most importantly, we will be adding additional photo galleries (of our work) to our website.

Granted, that is easier said than done - especially when we have to fit it in around our mad schedule of work. We are committed to it though and we understand that it is something we need to do more of. Please make sure you follow us across social media and keep an eye out in the new year for more content (especially more of a look behind the scenes as we create our masterpieces).

Our other aim for 2020 is to continue our move into the wonderful world of VW campers - throughout 2019 we have consistently been working on some incredible VW projects. Including two beautiful Splitscreen interiors, numerous cushion retrims, rock ’n’ roll bed retrims, panel sets etc. and we already have a few exciting VW projects booked in for 2020.

We know we need to get the VW Transporter section of the website complete (including price guides and photos), it is our number one priority moving forward. Basically, we have been overwhelmed throughout 2019 with your projects and that has meant we have had to shelve development time to concentrate on getting your projects complete and out the door. Moving forward, we have set a new deadline of DubFreeze 2020 to have the VW section of the website complete, we promise that it will be finished for DubFreeze (mid February).

2019, done (I say that… no it’s not, we actually have two incredible Mini projects to complete before we close for Christmas + all of the pre-Christmas orders to get out the door), here is to 2020!

20191204.JPG 20191205.JPG 20191206.JPG

Finally, may we also take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Kind regards,

Andy & the Optimise Automotive team

Happy New Year!

First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year - we are now refreshed and open again after our Christmas break.

The start of a New Year is always a great time to look back at the achievements of the past 12 months and 2019 was a brilliant year here at Optimise. Highlights included Camper Jam & Stanford Hall Mini Day and our continued launch into the VW camper market.

Throughout 2019 we worked on some incredible projects - from beautiful 60’s Splitscreen campers to retro tan & tweed Mini show stoppers, we did them all.

Without the support of the automotive communities we would be unable to create the masterpieces of automotive excellence that we have become known for, over the past 11 years - thank you, to each & every one of you.

Also, please make sure you check out our video blog look back over on our YouTube channel (which will be added this week) - the first of our new monthly video blogs (something that we plan to introduce throughout 2020).

Bespoke schedule updates & a busy time ahead...

Well, we will keep this months update short & sweet, as we are far too busy to be waffling at the moment.

Quite simply, it’s been our busiest January since our foundation in 2008 and looking ahead at our schedule of bespoke work, this will also be our busiest winter/spring period. We are now completely booked up until early April (or at least we will be within the next few days, as one or two projects are confirmed), plus we already have projects booked in for May and June.

If you are looking to have any bespoke work completed any time soon, please let us know ASAP so we can book you into our bespoke schedule.

Busy, busy, busy...

As touched upon in last months update, January was our busiest January ever and this has been followed up with our busiest February ever…. plus looking ahead at our booked in schedule of bespoke projects, it looks like this is going to be our busiest year ever.

As it stands we are completely booked up (for bespoke projects) until mid May, plus we already have further bookings confirmed for June and August.  If you are looking to have bespoke work completed any time soon, please let us know ASAP so we can book you into our bespoke schedule.

As we are so busy, I'm going to keep this months update short & sweet - I'll be back next month with another update and fingers crossed I'll have a bit more time to tell you all about what else is going on here at Optimise HQ.

Coronavirus update:

At this moment in time it’s business as normal here at Optimise and we are continuing to manufacture and dispatch everything as scheduled. We have taken internal measure and luckily as a small team (there’s only 3 of us) we can self isolate and continue working within Optimise HQ. With regards to our daily dispatch, we are placing the packages outside of the premises and ParcelForce are loading the packages onto their vans, complying with social distance regulations.

However, due to our own safety concerns (to prevent the spread) we are now refusing deliveries - this means we have seized ordering supplies and we are no longer accepting deliveries of future projects (vehicles, seats, items etc.). As a result, there will be a point in the near future that we run out of materials and/or run out of work and we will close down.

We are asking customers to not visit us unless necessary (collecting completed projects only), in this instance please follow the social distancing advice and just to let you know, you will not be allowed in the premises - all exchanges will be made outside.

We will continue to operate as normal (or as normal as possible), until we are unable to and we have to close - when and/or if this happens we will update customers who have future projects booked in and/or orders currently somewhere within the order process, individually via email.

Take care and keep safe,
Andy & the Optimise Automotive team

Good morning Daniel,

No, we make everything to order I'm afraid.

Just to let you know, the OEM black perf option will be available this week (depending on when we run out of boxes and we are low of headliner boxes) but the deluxe perforate option (the £160 option) won't be available until after Coronavirus as we cannot get the material perforated at this moment in time.

Kind regards,

Andy @ Optimise Automotive

In light of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and the latest guidance from the UK Government, please be advised that we have made the decision to suspend production and temporarily shut down Optimise HQ (as of 17:00 on 03/04/2020).

Quite simply, we have ran out of work that we are able to complete.

Please be advised that all of our non-production operations are continuing as normal and I will be working remotely (or in other words, I’ll be working from my sofa whilst watching re runs of Only Fools & Horses), you can contact me (Andy) throughout this via email: [email protected]

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and support as we all deal with this unprecedented situation.

We’ll be back producing interiors ASAP - stay safe, stay at home, take care of each other and we look forward to seeing you all on the other side.

Kind regards,
Andy & the Optimise Automotive team
