It's something we have looked at and decided not to for the foreseeable future, as it's such a competitive market and others do it to such a great standard we don't see the point :withstupid:

Our registered users will receive our yearly review in this months Newsletter, so for the rest of you here you are....

2009 - is it just us or has it flown by?

2009 was an incredibly productive year for us and it's hard to believe that in just 16 months of business Optimise Automotive has come this far.

Firstly, throughout 2009 the infrastructure of the business was completed and detailed plans for it's future are now in place. Although a majority of our work in 2009 was the 'behind the scenes' bits 'n' bobs that as customers you will never see, it is this work that ensures Optimise Automotive works as efficiently and productively as possible. This, in return, results in a higher standard and quality of products for you, the customer.

Secondly, in June 2009 we made an emphatic change from hand cut products (routers and machine-saws) to laser cut products. Something that now guarantees Optimise Automotive products have unrivalled levels of ultimate precision and consistent high quality control. Although the change to laser cutting meant our new product release dates were delayed by 6 months or so, this change will without doubt be a positive move as we progress through 2010 and further.

Finally, the fact that we now have everything 'behind the scenes' set-up and running like a well oiled A series (ok perhaps a bad example - were much more reliable) means that all we have left to do is release the list of products in the 'Coming Soon' section.

So that brings us on nicely to our plans for 2010...

2010 - it's all GO GO GO!

Our plan for 2010 is simple - release the rest of our 'Coming Soon' product range - that's it.

Since late September 2009 there hasn't been anything in the way of us progressing with future product development and things are starting to move along extremely well. Our 'Door Card' range is very close to release (fingers crossed everything is set for a valentine's day release) and a majority of our 'Trim Accessories' range is nearing the end of its development process (so expect it to be released some time in February).

After that it will be back on with our 'Centre Consoles' range and we will be carrying on from where we left off after the trial fits Consoles from back in October. We are not willing to commit to a release month for Consoles, but if things continue to progress well (without change and depending on how long it takes to trial fit them), we are hoping to have Consoles ready for production in April.

It will then be time to get on with Headlining's for release in the summer, before Dashboards and Dash Trim accessories before the end of the year.

However, the progression of all our new products depends on how busy we are throughout the year and if things start to get busier and busier release dates may be delayed. Finding the balance between advertising the company to become better known and keeping ourselves partly hidden until our full product range is released will be key in 2010, so here is to hoping we get it right!

Finally, have a great 2010 - and thanks for the support throughout our fledgling year!

Thanks

Andy
