How do yours sound in the boot? Is your mini an mpi captain kirk? And have you got them on a seperate switch somewhere near the dash?

I decided that I didn't want the horns in the boot but actually they don't look too bad in your boot. They look like they take up a little bit of room but then I suppose there isn't that much room in the mini boot anyway so....
But thinking about it, do you think they could go somewhere in the inner wing? Or was there no where else you could fit them hence why they're in the boot?
Spi is almost the same as mpi in terms of engine bay space isn't it?

Hi amy, i put a small loud boat horn in just next to the original on my mpi and it fits a treat, then put a pull out switch like the on for the heater in the spare space on the switch panel.
The horn sounds like a old style gost train and has been great fun at thew shows and in convoys.
this came from www.airhorns.co.uk they also have lots for small musical/animal sound horns etc
hope this helps.
john
Which one do you have?
Thanks

Got the switch from maplins i think it was 99p,some people put there airhorns in the inner wing, rear subframe anywhere you can find a space,i put mine in the boot so they wouldnt get damaged or full of dirt.
Ok thanks, lots of food for thought there! Might just buy the horns and worry about where to fit them when I've got them
