I'm going to definately vote with my feet, im not sure if the staff at minispeed would understand writing! I think they are a little stuck in the past, They probably communicate using stone tablets!!!

I cant believe this...

There has been more than one thread recently on this...

The company is beyond the point of disgust...Its out of hand really is...

Slowly but surely they will loose all customers and respect

I amazed how many people have said that there have been recent threads on this company! and that they have had the same problems as i have with them. Surely they would have realised that they are doing something wrong? They cant be that out of touch can they? Yes its funny taking the mick but you have to seriously worry when a company seems so oblivious to how they are behaving that they are causing all these people problems!

I can't believe in this day and age and especially in the present economic climate that companies act like this. I think the problem is complacency. they have probably had a good run over the years with people bending over backwards to give them their hard earned cash in exchange for a sh@&t service, however people are starting to look differently and customer service is the thing that makes people go back time after time. The company i work for won the 2008/09 UK customer service award something we take seriously and something that put us in the forefront of our industry, we are actually the market leader in what we do which for a family run firm is a fantastic achievement but it all comes down to customer service.
yes i think people are always looking for a particular part at the best possible price but basic customer service doesn't cost anything. Mind you from what i have experianced recently with suppliers of mini parts there are others who need a lesson or 2 on dealing with customers however i would like to Praise Minisport for there help and advise which is always freely and gladly given.

Many years ago i had a garage that specialised in VW beetle restoration, for 12 years we traded on word of mouth and recomendations which for a hobby that went wrong and turned into a buisiness was a great feeling and all achieved with a friendly smile and courtious service, we never took any of our customers for granted.
It gauls me to hear of bad customer service to the point where i want to give my job up and start a crusade of supplying parts for minis with a service that everyone shouts about from the hill tops........starting in Huddersfield!!!!!!!!

Sorry i'm just in a ranting mood

I must say the service at minispeed is disagreable to say the least. A number of staff there seem criminally unithusiastic. Apart from that, the place looks like a dump, not a problem i itself but the i can see how the perpetual mess can discourage people from going there.

Hopefully, This negativity from us lot might make them think about making changes. Only the fittest businesses survive, If Mini speed where to aquire an unshakeable reputation for being naff then i shouldn't think they'll last much longer.

Maybe, the Mini forum could raise money to buy minispeed out and start again, hiring people who actually want to work there would be a start >_<

I completely agree with you! Whenever i am at work and dealing with customers i always at least put on a smile and say hello. Something which minispeed could do with trying. People appreciate being noticed and being spoken to like a normal person. Its so simple
