Hmmm. And people complain about Minis being traded in for scrappage.

"Enthusiasts" are responsible for far more Mini deaths than people that just have them as a car IMO.

quite true. i know ive scrapped at least 4 - a 1987 red hot, well that was rotten!, a couple of mini 1000 saloons and a pickup as well. although there was absolutely no way you could save the pickup, as most of it could fit into a bucket. still have the paperwork and plates, just waiting to see if heritage ever start making pickup shells as i have got all the running gear and interior.

Same hear :mrcool:

So going by this both my minis should have been scrapped years ago as both were rotten (the 89 the worst) and have had thousands spent between them...

Although the 25 does need a new exhaust and a small patch on the passenger side sill (it’s still sold but a bit scabby) ^_^ Maybe it is time it was scrapped…

Year right, over my dead…

dont feel bad about the dead minis

think of it as a thread of communal mourning for all these minis!

i dont have any digital pics but my dads old clubby estate was rammed by a truck which shortened the wheelbase significantly.. it was saloon length at the end. :dontgetit:

so are you sayying you have'nt stripped and killed a mini then Mr Geehawk ? >_< ( not a dig may I add :dontgetit: )

Nope. The Clubby I have now is the first car I bought/owned, I've had it for over 20 years. In that time it has rusted & been repaired on numerous occasions. It is on it's 5th engine, 4th set of seats, 6th set of wheels, 3rd rear subby. If I want a different style I change it, rather than sell up and start again. It is my only Mini.
