Rick, sorry to see this! I've always kept an eye on this, especially as you're local too. I hope you can resolve the issues, and don't lose heart with it, your ideas and work on this have always been top stuff.

I dont want to lose interest but at the rate its going, if i cant get my money or my parts from said company (courts looking the only way as they havnt replied to us about it at all and are ignoring the problems), the mini may as well be scrapped as im redundant in 2 weeks anyway. wish i spent the money elsewhere.

Well decided gotta get a cheap secondhand engine for now as its all i can do to get it on the road, untill i get the courtcase over i wont have any money at all as im redundant on friday.

Bloody hell mate that's not good about the redundancy thing. Are they closing down or tightening their belts??

there thinning down mate, its not too bad ive got a job on for now to get me by. court papers now handed in so hopefully ill be able to actually finish this and take you for that ride ive owed you for nearlly two years.

so are they mg metro turbo brakes they look like mine but i wasnt shore wath they are.

Right need to get this on track now after what happened. Plans now are a standard engine and a decent head. Maybe even getting the unusable short engine built by mra looked at and rebuilt and incorporating that, may as well get some use of it as its all i got for my money after he robbed me. Ill sell the cooper interior for now to help fund it. Anyone got any clues of what its worth?
