I think "spread out" is a good idea, Ru55boy and i will be arriving on Sat morning, we have a cheap Marquay if it rains!. Is it worth setting up some mobile numbers or a big flag so we can all find the camp site?

I dont know what time to get there for  Surely it doesn't matter if we'll be having our own camping area?

Unless someone has told the organisers that you want a camping area and for how many, you WON'T be camping together.

It is first come, first serve on camping and you will be delegated a space when you arrive. Bewl water is smaller than hop farm and they are expecting it to be very busy this year!

Camping pitches will be allocated on arrival and are 5m x 5m per pitch. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE LIMITED TO 700 PITCHES.

I understand that pitches will be delt out on arrival, that makes sense. But surely if you've bought a weekend ticket in advance they shouldn't overbook the camping, or sell tickets on the door without knowing how many are still due to arrive with pre-booked weekend tickets. I'd be rather *drunk* off to get there with a pre-booked ticket to find that it's all full.

I don't think its he pre-booked they worry about... its people who don't prebook and turn up on the day.... they won't hold spaces for those who have pre-booked... It only guarentees you cheaper tickets not a camping spot. Its first come first serve.

I've read if you want a large camping area, they need to know in advance and need to know how many. To which it will be organised at the first arrival for the group on the day.

I will be attempting to save a space for one person turning up later than I will.

[Rant]

FFS  what is wrong with all these show organisers. They are killing off the atmosphere of all the shows. People dont want want to be herded into pens like cattle they want to park up with their friends form a camp and have a good time. It was the same with L2B.

I really hope MITP doesnt follow a similar pattern.

[Rant/] :-

On a seperate note Charlie Brown do you know when we will be getting our tickets as really your gonna need to post them tomorrow to ensure everybody gets them in time?

I completely agree as L2B was horrible.

want to meet up? LOL

Heather, TMF can camp together if someone knows how many and have pre-warned the organisers, which i doubt has been done. It could all change on the day... dependas how strickt the organisers and bewl water are lol

Im just thinking SMD know how many tickets we bought so im wondering if it too late for Charlie or someone else in authority to ring them and see if they can reserve us a camping space?

And also to get the ball rolling on the tickets thing if everyone makes sure they have sent Charlie their name and address they want the tickets posting too that will save time.
