This was my very first Mini show that ive been to,and it was brilliant,went up this morning in my beige City(looked around the show on Sunday and mine seemed to be the only first edition(big black side stripes) city there!(well,un modded anyway!)
If the owner of the dark green mk3 that won the non club car trophy is on here,i put in a few persuasive words to the judge,explaining why i thought it should win lol

got a nice selection of bits for my car,set of black wheelarch trim,handbook and brochure,correct black grille with austin morris badge,and a speaker board.

yeaaah! i know only had 15 psi in the tyres, i think ill go even less next time, sounded good to me and i was driving it haha

yeah i was kinda annoyed abotu the freekin bini's was alright against normal coopers but couldnt fend off the S's


a chap i was with wasnt having a good day either so im just going to say the track was cr*p this time haha weather this be true or not dont tell me otherwise, ignorance is bliss

I had a great weekend, infact every mini weekend in the past month has been awesome! its the people and the atmosphere that make it what it is..oh and somthing to do with minis too!?????
anyhoo.... apart from the wasps and the mud it was fun!

had a great day, but got toasted (why isnt there a sunburnt smiley)

was dissapointed with a couple of minis mainly the Jaguar straight six mini "striptease", i first saw this in the early 80's at my school fete in Essex, and my childhood dreams of this car was shattered today

That drag car just prooves how much the mini world and other engine tuning has moved on since the 80's.

Was a well good weekend, might have had abit to much to drink shame sams car couldnt make it home under its own power but it was a right good laugh waiting for the recovery man and i hope the man with the snapped subframe who was waiting out side santa pod with us got home OK or i wonder if the AA are still making him wait for the recovery truck

For me the best bit about the show was buying a novielty monkey hat and waiting for the recovery truck :|
Head gasket and a Warped head is the cause of my misery now!
But on the other hand i bought a few nice things...met a very nice couple from durham whos rear subframe had snapped clean through...tried a few unique forms of towing... and had a good laugh with my mates.
so all in all i think it was a success.
Does anyone know if there was a tool tent this year as i know last yer someone done there cluytch i believe and there was a tent of people with all the tools who helped fix it?
could have used this i tell you now!
anyone else break down?

We had a great day on the sunday,was good to meet the usual TMF crowd wandering around the venue,the jet car was awsome,was the first show club stand for south central minis,i know a few people were looking for us,will be better organised for castle coombe for those interested.

Was a good show considering the accident I had last night.

Well I had an amazing weekend! I met lots of people! Got loads of photos so will add some when I get some more batteries for my camera!
