:-, it's looking a bit sorry for itself there, grill off fitting a heater matrix too try keep it cool on the way home.

Hope you dont mind me using a pic Jayare

But this thing was flying down the strip

Posted Image

What the hell is that in there?!

That's stuart meads mini. I went and had a very quick chat with him. He said he wasn't happy with his times because one of the nitrous solonoids wasn't working properly. I didn't see hime going down the strip, I was busy trying to sort my car and scouring the autojumble.

im a little disapointed with my times  just couldnt get out the 16's

all moaning done (was quick one) and i had a good weekend with good friends

Ohhhh mini93, not c93, I didn't see c93, I saw you driving around the campsite, waved but you had gone.

We had a great day on the sunday, was good to meet the usual TMF crowd wandering around the venue, the jet car was awsome, was the first show club stand for south central minis,i know a few people were looking for us,will be better organised for castle coombe for those interested.

I saw you, but you were driving and by the time I spotted you, you were gone.

Im going, with 2 mates, one who crashed his mini, and one who is selling his mini.

Please come and say hello, I don't bite.

I waved to you when you were parked near the campsite entrance...didn't get a response ^_^

Didn't see you sorry, I would have said hello or waved otherwise.

Oh and minili I saw your car, my mate commented, saying it was one of the best 306's he'd seen.

Anyone hear/see me wake up my mate. We did like a 20 point turn, and pushed the mini's tailpipe up too his tent and revved the pants off it and did a few pops. He was not ammused.

Also ripped off my numberplate  on a box of invisible beer.

Realy good weekend though, I enjoyed it.

Ben

Urrr front or back?

back was fitting my new over riders, of which one fell off in a petrol station.

And at the front I was trying too see where water was leaking from.

Either way it seems fine now and made the 200 mile journey back fine. 70 all the way with minimal overheating :-

I had a goot time with Analogue Radio and TheBIGGERimage.
Unfortunately couldn't run this year as the mini isn't ready yet, would have liked to beat my 17.3 from last year.
Found it funny trying to meet "sprocket", I phoned him and looked over to the lining up lane and saw him on the phone talking to me ;D
Thanks for meeting up for the turbo sprocket :)
Also thanks to Turbo Phil for meeting up for the head :P

May upload some pics later...

This was my very first Mini show that ive been to,and it was brilliant, went up this morning in my beige City(looked around the show on Sunday and mine seemed to be the only first edition(big black side stripes) city there!(well,un modded anyway!)
If the owner of the dark green mk3 that won the non club car trophy is on here,i put in a few persuasive words to the judge, explaining why i thought it should win lol

got a nice selection of bits for my car,set of black wheelarch trim, handbook and brochure, correct black grille with austin morris badge, and a speaker board.

Dan

ahem

Well i never,it was you!being a relativbe newbie to mini shows etc i had no idea!deserved to win tho that car, seemed to stop everyone who was walking past to have a look!

Anyone know what the company was called that had the stall near the cafe, with the blue mini with sportspack arches and the new supertrax wheels on? All the people working on it were chineese?

Thought the show was really good this year.. fair play to the new management. I was umming and arring whether to camp but i'm so glad I did, there was an awesome atmosphere, awesome weather and loads more minis than I expected. Had a great time with the CV1 lot and the couple I camped with so thanks for keeping me well entertained ;D

One of my moments of this year, as the sun was setting over the Shire's countryside, with a field full of minis and a beer :) Epic.

Was absolutely knackered by about 3 on Sunday so chipped quite early, but that's due to over exertion on Saturday more than anything else :P Still had time to pick up a bargain, see all the entertainment and some awesome minis as per.

Car of the show for me was between a white van, clean as you like, on 10s, in the mini only parking, and the red mini minus on 09 plates in the camping area.
