Reading all these stories of rusty Mini's makes me realise quite how lucky I was with my Clubby!

Pea looks like a great project, and it looks like your making good progress too!

You are making great progress, keep up the good work. Also lifting the car over the front subframe is a good idea, make sure you put jacks under the subframe otherwise it will just fall over. That was the mistake i made when i removed an engine that way :S

Havent updated this in a while...

well the progect has gone on hold now as my friend, the owner, has got into the marines

so we have taken the engine out by hand and have left it as a rolling shell.

Wonder how many more years it will sit in the garage now
