That is awesome news...

Its a shame they might put the cones across early...otherwise the quicker people might have managed to start a fourth lap...

Out of many cars, there were a few more incidents during the week, but a jolly good time was had by all :)

Aye, there were a couple of likkle incidents.

Not that it reeeeeally matters; but it wasn't an organiser that kissed the Armco. Luckily, no real damage done and no fees. Most importantly, no injuries. :)

They didn't close the track early, not for us and not for the other run either. When you book the track for a period, that period is all the time you get. All your cars must be off the track at the end of that period, otherwise you are using up someone else's time. None of the cars we had there were up to completing four laps in 30 minutes and that's the point. You must have completed your lap by the end of your session, when you start the lap is irrelevant. They shut the ring when there is enough time left to get everyone around and off. We didn't try to form up a grid start on the track itself, we just lined up at the barrier (not on the track so we could line up before our time started) and so we all got on in good order.

it was good to see, but the ring staff weren't very organised a couple of none "run" cars almost got in the pack.

what are the conditions for the run - is certain aged cars

Almost? We only saw ours on the track? Surely the staff's intervention to stop them getting on the track can't be faulted? There were no complaints about the staff from the BH2N runners, we were pretty damn lucky to get our own track time.

Who did you go there with and what did you drive? Did you enjoy it? It went far too quickly for us and want to go back.

I was in the last vehicle waiting to go out and from what I saw the Ring staff were fine; one car attempted tagging onto the end as he came out of the parking area but the Ring staff turned him away.

just me and a few lads went for a few days, there was a bmw E36 323 convert, a toyta mr2 and a mondeo st24. was good fun, i'll be taking my car next time, bmw e46 323 saloon. i couldn't this year but next time she's going

che - i was stood right next to the group and 2 or 3 cars joined at the back, but the organiser from the rover had to step in and tell the staff that only cars with the retro run stickers could go on.

it looked good fun, shame the weather was bad
