Last year I paid, £97.00 fully comp,
This year the quote was £112.00 fully comp
If I add my "modifcations", alloys, decals, and lowered suspension it goes up to nearly £300.00. and thats with out the engine mods that will be going in in the next few weeks

who gave you the quote, and what are the t&c's? without any info it's kinda arbitrary

£300 isn't that bad!

From £112 to £300 for some stickers and a bit of bling, I think ist horrendous. and NOT agreed value. the best quote was swinton.

Jamie, my 1380 costs me £218 a year fully comp with HIC, you know the spec, and I'm about 8 years younger than you!
Get on the phone son.....
I had 2 205 gti 1.9's on classic car insurance last year, both fully comp with agreed values, totalling 10k miles a year and then only cost me £300. I will be on the phone tomorrow, thats for sure.

you're also using confused which an abysmal site, or at least not worth considering if you have any modifications, even basics. call up a 'proper' mini insurer who'll understand that 'suspension modifications' isn't some boy racing stick-on spax logo and understand that uprated dampeners and hi-lows are practically essential =)
I searched around a lot for mine, and as soon as i started calling places like Adrian flux the price changed for the better (considerably).

I pay loads more, but its a fairly modded car. Increasing insurance qoute for chrmoes and stickers its a rip off. Thats my opinion.
