To be fair, what you could do is use the film but heat it ever so slightly and you won't get any wrinkles.

I think i know the lights youre talking about ive got them on my 95 mini, but i bought the car with them on. I just know that its got xenon bulbs but by the looks of it the backing of the lamp is coloured aswell. I do know that they were bought from Croydon Minis so might be worth giving them a call

I got a pair of Lucas beam converters for continental driving. Bought them off eBay about 3 months back. They came in the original packaging and were a steal at £5.40 including p&p. Goingro put them on as soon as I get the mini back. I'll post some pictures up.

I know I was willing to pay £20 for them. And put a last minute bid in. The person who bid before me must have only put £2.50 or something because I won the for £3.00. I was well happy

Actuly those ones pictured by "mini hobnob" are iridium tinted asin the lense is produced that color dosent have anything todo with bulbs. Altho he dose mention xenon bulbs wich he could be geting confused with HID lamps that function in a compleatly difernt way to and halogen bulb.

You can get HID kits that give off differnt shades of light they work on changing the tempreature/power the HID lamps run at. But this would only be noticable when the lights are tuned on

http://www.coolbulbs...IDKits_body.asp

just linking as the site shows the bulbs running at differnt tempreatures and what light they produce at these temps
