So whos going then?

Shall we have an up-to-date list and where we are starting from, which ferry crossing etc. Maybe people can meetup and convoy over.

I'm going along with 4 others from Splinters Mini Club. Starting from the Dudley area. Our details will be hammered out tonight at our club meeting.

We are planning to go via the Nurburgring to do a lap or two. Peeps from the surrounding area are welcome to tag along with our convoy.

I've just added my sailing times. On the way back we intend to stop at the Nurburgring for a night. Is anyone else doing the same and can anyone recommend a campsite nearby?

Google for 'Camping am Nürburgring' It's very close to the circuit (actually that's where BH2N & SRR go to!). You can't miss it. Lots of space, prices are OK, has a store with everything you like. http://www.camping-a...g.de/WieWo.html and http://www.camping-a....de/VorOrt.html

Thanks for the link, I have just been looking at that site from via a link in a Pistonheads thread. They recon that you could just turn up and get a space, do you think this is realistic or should we book in advance. I ask because if it's been a wet weekend at the IMM, I will probably look for a hotel for the night rather and have to set up wet camping gear.

Yeah, you just check in at the reception - no booking is required. And they have lots of space. So unless there's a realy big event you shouldn't have any trouble. Probabl best to ring them up. As for hotels - I don't know but I guess there are a fair few around the 'Ring. But never looked into them.

Cheers, we will probably chance it and just turn up. The hotel will be a last resort if the weather is lousy so I'll probably just take a few addresses with me off the net.
