colt lookd alright but its automatic which arent fun driving.


You'd be suprised, it was actually pretty responsive. Just wouldn't drop down as quick as a manual.

Maybe I would get fed up with in time, but it was nice to have the gear changes done for you.

Now where's my slippers and pipe?


Automatics aren't all that bad, our audi's an auto and it's great fun to drive still :lol: plus it's damned nice when you're stuck in traffic!!

I'm not looking for anything specifically; just need a cheap form of transport as soon as possible. Really I was looking more for advice on buying the cars, as apposed to the actual cars themselves. What should I be looking out for? Is this car or that car dodgy?

True, hence why I think the Mitsubishi would be a sound buy.

Not going to get another Civic just for variety sake.

if you got nuff funds get a corolla, if you want some poke though go GTI or VTR although im guessing you ent intrested in speed if just driving to and from work and things lolz

Our 13 year old VW tdi is currently valued at around 750-800 quid & she's a complete lemon. Be careful!
