going to be some really nice wheels on your mini then . nice to see different types of alloys on minis makes them more unique i think
looks like its going to be a good project & i bet your going to enjoy that 1380 in it as well

Yeah me to , I think there are too many minis with minilites out there sometimes better to see them without
Yeah should be a good project but its just too rust at the moment need to get it in better shape buts its alright

I once drove the Corsa a family member used to own and it was the most horrible car I've ever driven.

It handled like a shopping trolley with wonky wheels and had no performance whatsoever.

But then Vauxhall are pretty rubbish as our 5 year old low mileage Zafira will be needing another clutch soon. Plus the oil level keeps falling.

Where as my 99,610 mile 1990 Mini Cooper is still running like new.

how much are stage 3 head im thinking of gettin one and how is it put on dont really know about it
my speedo only goes up to 90 and he reckons i'll only go like 100
but my uncle can get 84 out of a standard 998cc
how fast would it go with stage 3 and how much would it be etc?
dad probably wouldnt let me but hopefully when he gives me it when i can drive in about 3 years and its running fine i can do whatever i want to it
he says i have to work for it?? i'm trying my hardest i want it soooo much lol cheers

my ******* friend thinks his 1.2 corsa is faster than my mini, its insulting. he wants a mini so badly but i laugh at him because he is paying lots to pay of his poo car. hahaha

I got given a corsa as a loan car, worst car ever. kept it for 2 days, pulled the fuse for the radio out, and took it back, said the radio was not working so they gave me a VW golf FSI........result!

Does he know that corsas arent performance cars, have a very poor handling, very poor performace, very poor quality and are really good only at going to tesco??

October last year Dave . This is with the 1293 but a different head at the time. A 45 on a short home made manifold. 1.7 ratio rockers and an aldon red curve dizzy.

Now its got a standard mg metro head, standard rockers, fiddled hif44 and standard ignition.

The rockers, carb and ignition were because i ran out of money . As for the head, i popped the head gasket. when we pulled it apart one of the brass plugs in the head had sunk into it, so it will need a new plug and a skim. Has a 3.7 final drive now as i got bored of 70 at five grand. Its 690 odd kg aswell without my lardy ass in it. (13x7`s actually weigh more then the world) 780kg all up.

So now has about 85bhp as opposed to the 118odd it would do before. So may do a very high 16 now?

I cant be bothered with it any more, im going to finish the other shell, put some 1300 engine in it while i build the other engine. then jobs a good un.

its actualy 4500 for 70 with a 3.7...thats with 10 inch wheels.

just seems a rather good time, i was only doing 16.2 in my thing, tho i have a hell of a very heavy rollcage...not that iv had it rolling roaded, and my tracking was everywhere

Ah well. i was quite surprised also. I almost humped the leg like a dog of my friend who said it was a sub 15. I couldent replicate it though. fastest i got bar that was 15.4.
