it will eat a corsa for breakfeast . i drove my mini the other day after the putting the 1380 into it goes like a ROCKET i got out shaking was usued to driving it when it had a 998 in it & now its a beast haha

How fast do u reckon u can hit in it?
And like 0-60 and that my cousin reckons the corsa can do it in like 9 seconds but the new corsa 1.2 wont do 9 about 8 i looked and it said 16 for the old corsa
he reckons it'll only go about 90 and he will go 110 lol

Just tell your cousin.

A standard 1275 mini will do a quarter of a mile in 19 seconds. The same as a Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 Sri.

A well sorted fully tractable 1380 should kick out 100BHP at the flywheel.

Now i dont joke when i say this but it will give the likes of the 20 valve turbo Cupra a run for its money.

Dont even enter into this conversation with him! let the car do the talking when you wop his itty bitty corsa! And to give you some idea, my 1275 with stage 3 head can do 110 / off the speedo if i ask it nicely

dad probably wouldnt let me but hopefully when he gives me it when i can drive in about 3 years and its running fine i can do whatever i want to it
he says i have to work for it?? i'm trying my hardest i want it soooo much lol cheers

I wouldnt advise doing that you will knacker your engine quicker especially if you have high mileage, unless you uprade other parts to cope with it

I am going to have to agree with the guy above - that car is pretty well gone rust wise. You have to wonder if it would be better to find a better shell.

No, but they're bumpy enough to knock trim off your mini XD. I must admit its pretty rusty but nothing some panel replacement and respraying can't fix . And a weel-sorted 1380 Mini will see off most modern hatchbacks. A 1.0 Corsa doesnt stand a chance at the lights.
