Still...
Finished off the welding on the passengers side and then repaired and refitted the end of the seat crossmember.

Did some welding underneath the floor to finish it off.

How factory does that look?!!
With a bit of a grind and some seam sealer it should look really tidy and be at least as strong as the original floor!!

Still...

nice work mate - the sills and steps are probably stronger than theyve ever been from what we saw before you cut it all out

dots mini really was a collection of bad repairs, over bad repairs. some areas were suprisingly good, but its just so much easier to cut out the years of bad repairs and try to make a half decent job at last.

The end result will be much better for it and once its been seamsealed/rust treated and then had the cavities filled with waxoyl, it should last years before needing any further attention.
