We have a pair of Chinese Water Dragons and have had them for over 4 years. Wilma is the female and is about 4 years old and Fred is only about 6 months.

Beardies are renown for their friendly easily tamed nature. A friend works in a pet shop and she keeps Beardies at home for the shop. Very inquisitive creatures.

Main difference between Water and Beardies is Water Dragons are rain forest humid aminals and Bearded Dragons are Dry Desert.

Both are wonderful pets.

I've had two. Bernie and Scorch.

Both sadly now live in the big tank in the sky after many years of living the good life as the spoiled pets of my house.

Beardies are the best lizzes out there. >_<

i spoil jesse all the time, most people feed them crickets as theyre cheaper but i only feed him locusts now,
i even let some out in my room so he can run about after them
i want some water dragons but i dont think i should get any more pets right now

i have jesse, 2 leopard geckos (phillip and lucy) and a tortoise called speed (shared with my girlfriend)
also have a tokay gecko called jim, hes really vicious tho so i dont touch him

my chameleon (ellie) just died on saturday from a prolapsed uterus

A fair amount... but most of that is the initial set up.Tank, lights, rocks etc... Crickets/Locusts/Mealworms are relatively cheap and can be brought en masse and kept on veg left-overs for a few weeks.

Scorchy cost us £80 when we got her at a mere 15cm long >_<

Currently have one ginger beardie, he will have a missus soon too and a plush new tank :tumble: yay
Awesome pets, beardies are one of the only reptiles i know that are slightly affectionate!
I'd love a leopard gecko or a salamander at some point too
