I have got to say the most important thing in every day life is to be understood.
For me on a professional level it is very different, as I am writing for academic journals etc. For this my grammar, spelling and sentence structure must be spot on. Even with this being said, we have systems were your text has the possibility to be corrected.
Indeed, even some of the senior professors, have relied on me to 'check' there (only joking) their work; as I am a native English speaker. I write every day, and type fast and i really rely on my spell check.
When I come on here I kinda 'let loose' as I cant arsed.
So go on people let loose those fingers and say what you need to say, and keep your middle finger up for all the grammar police... It is much more important to express yourself than to say nothing at all.
Disclaimer : - This post has been written and proof read with the help of 4 of Europe's finest beers.
P.S you boys need to get off that English lager and Ale, there is more to

They're not real beers!!Lets sit back with a real beer (Directors or London Pride) and see what transpires.
Commercialised ale brand, you should be supporting your local small brewer, and then you need to check they are using local British hops - then I'm happy!

All who argue against the need to TRY (and I stress the word) to use correct English need to read TMF Rules and Regulations.
If you argue against them you should not be on this forum.
How do you know they haven't proof read their reply, checked it or tried? You don't. But I've read your replies and posts back to people who seem to have a genuine problem, and you embarrass users by picking up on it and by singling them out. Not really abiding by TMF's Rules and Regulations.
Your probably a nice guy outside the mini forum, so this is my last reply. Have a good night.

Bravo At Montys Reply..
DO THESE CAPS ANNOY YOU, I MEAN CAPITALS
Daryl you sell what exactly ? I was certain that you sold brochures, flyers and other printed media, so to me this is like me saying just bang a nail in where a cotter or a bolt should be or if it doesn't fit use a hammer

My Grammar is not always ideal or anywhere close to perfect.
I spent 25 years in the Army and one thing that became very clear, very quickly all those years ago, was communication is the backbone of a modern society.
I guess Britain is regressing into neanderthal times

Try this statement....
If what is said, is not what is meant, then that which is supposed to be done remains undone....
