then i watched a bit of the film "adulthood" last night and they were doing the same! when i was younger (which isnt all that long ago) someone talking like that would have been seen as acting for a laugh.
does any of the young lads on here talk like this?

it would be ok if you could class it as regional dialect but it isnt
this is what is known as chav talk..basically they watch films about gansters or listen to rap and start talking that way

NEVER!!!, these people are basically 'wannabies'. In other words they want to be like a 'gangster' and are generally the sort that gets all young people steriotyped as what can only be described as a waste of space!!

I'm 16 by the way, and I don't understand it, they are just chavs!!!NEVER!!!, these people are basically 'wannabies'. In other words they want to be like a 'gangster' and are generally the sort that gets all young people steriotyped as what can only be described as a waste of space!!

As said, all they want to look is "hard" and "cool", maybe to get "credits" of their mates (heard that before, almost laughed when I found out its like "respect")
A girl once asked me for my "digits". I asked her what she meant & said "Your cell phone number silly!" Use of American terms also gets up my back!
