Thanks Andrew ;)
with Boris being injection with a CAT im just going backwards from there for the time being  Maybe in the future ill replace the standard LCB for a better one but for now ill just stick with the bits backwards from the CAT

Really Looks like the Maniflow is the one to go for :teehee:

No bother :techsupport:.

It makes sense for the time being. Do SPi's have a seperate inlet to exhaust manifolds? Just curious that's all.

Even if the paint does come off (which it shouldn't because it's maniflow) you can always buy some high temperature paint and give it a coat to keep it nice :techsupport:.

Cheers,

Andrew

Im not too sure if they have seperate inlet/outlets manifolds?
Though ive been advised theres no real need with an SPI to upgrade the LCB.

Yeh i was thinking that ill just recoat the paint once a year or something

So are you going to go for a single box or twin?

You do get the systems which go from the cat back I think, your best bet is to speak to the people at Mini Its who have a lot of Maniflow systems, they should be able to help you out

I have just fitted the rolled tip single box version of that exaust. warmed the engine up and reved it a few times while tuning the engine for it.
The children at the end of my drive didnt cry and the neighbours didnt complain, so id say it wasnt too loud.

But, OMG does it sound nice!

I Want a nice burble on Start up/Tickover and the new exhaust to have a fair bit to say when you go go

It does exactly that.

you could remove all the paint and then paint it with zinc primer before fitting

Hey Jodie

I bet i put you off from having a exhaust like mine after today after our little run

After you left today and i got home went to put the mini away i pulled away and the exhaust fell off :) So i think i drove it way to hard down those lanes must have caught it on those uneven rds and made the bracket loose

Still good fun though it was funny when you tried grabbing the steering wheel ;) So what was your thoughts of the exhaust too loud me thinks? I cannot listen to my music when im on a dual carriageway =]

I say go for a single side exit but if you have your heart set on a centre then go for a twin centre, one doesnt look right!
